Questions about the Amazon MCP
Does Amazon have an official MCP server?
Amazon publishes MCP servers for AWS, its cloud, and for Amazon Ads, which manages your own campaigns. Neither searches the store or reads other sellers’ products. Manifold does, from the public catalog.
Does it need my seller account?
No. There is nothing to connect: Manifold reads Amazon’s public search results and product pages through a data provider. That also means it cannot see your orders, inventory or ad spend; for those, use a server that connects your seller or ads account.
