Find the subreddits where your topic comes up
Type a topic, a product or a problem. We search Reddit and rank the communities where it is discussed, with an example thread from each.
How it works
- 1
Type what you want to find, like "bookkeeping for freelancers".
- 2
We search Reddit's posts and count which communities they come from.
- 3
Open the subreddits, and a thread from each, ranked by how often the topic comes up.
Then read what they are saying

Questions about the Subreddit finder
How does the subreddit finder work?
It searches Reddit's posts for your topic and counts which subreddits the matching posts come from, so the communities where the topic comes up most are first. Each comes with its highest scoring post in the sample.
Do I need a Reddit account or API key?
No. The search runs on Manifold's side, so there is nothing to sign in to and no Reddit API app to apply for.
Is there a GummySearch alternative?
GummySearch shut down in November 2025. Manifold covers the same jobs from your agent: finding subreddits, searching posts and comments, and reading the new posts in the communities you watch. How to monitor Reddit for brand mentions
Is the subreddit finder free?
Yes. You get 15 searches a day here, with no signup. For more, connect Manifold to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor: the free plan gives your agent 250 credits every month, with no card.
