Questions about the LinkedIn MCP
Is there an official LinkedIn MCP server?
No. LinkedIn does not publish one. Every LinkedIn MCP server is built by someone else, and they differ in how they reach the data: your session cookie, a browser they drive as you, or a data provider.
Can this get my LinkedIn account restricted?
No LinkedIn account is involved. Manifold reads public LinkedIn data through a data provider, so nothing runs as you and there is no cookie to paste. Servers that drive your own logged-in session do risk it: LinkedIn’s user agreement forbids automated access to accounts.
Can my agent post, comment or send messages?

Can it find someone’s email from their LinkedIn profile?
