How is the Instagram engagement rate calculated?
For each of the latest posts, likes plus comments, divided by the account's followers. The rate shown is the average across those posts. Posts that hide their like count are left out rather than counted as zero.
What is a good engagement rate on Instagram?
It depends on the account's size and niche. Rates usually fall as follower counts grow, so compare an account with peers of a similar size rather than with one benchmark.
Can I check any account?
Any public account. Private accounts show no posts, so there is nothing to measure.
