The best LinkedIn MCP servers

As far as we can find, LinkedIn does not publish an official MCP server. When your agent needs LinkedIn, a third-party MCP server connects it either to LinkedIn data (posts, profiles and company pages) or to a content tool that drafts and schedules posts for you. Some are hosted and handle sign-in for you. Others run on your machine and use your own LinkedIn session. Each charges in its own way and does a different job.

Here are the main options, what they cost, and which one fits your workflow.

stickerdaniel/linkedin-mcp-server

stickerdaniel/linkedin-mcp-server is a free, open-source server (Apache 2.0) that connects your agent to LinkedIn through your own logged-in browser session, with the browser running on your machine. You install it with uvx (it needs uv), Docker or a Claude Desktop bundle, then sign in through a login browser or import the session from a browser where you are already signed in.

Its tools read profiles and company pages, search people, companies, posts and jobs, read your feed and inbox, and, after confirmation, send messages and connection requests. It is an independent project, not affiliated with LinkedIn, and it acts as your own account.

Best for: Research and outreach through your own LinkedIn account when you are happy to run a local server.

Postiv

Postiv's LinkedIn MCP is a hosted server at https://postiv.ai/mcp. In Claude and ChatGPT you sign in to Postiv and pick a workspace; Claude Code and other clients use a Postiv API key. It works with Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor. Your agent can search Postiv's inspiration library, draft posts with your workspace knowledge, create images and carousels, schedule approved posts and analyze performance for connected LinkedIn accounts. Postiv says it does not scrape profiles or automate DMs and connection requests.

Postiv's pricing page lists MCP access on Creator Pro, from $49.50/mo billed yearly, and every plan starts with a 7-day free trial. Plans and prices on the page vary, so check it for the current offer.

Best for: Teams that want Claude or ChatGPT to run a LinkedIn content workspace with drafting, visuals and scheduling.

ContentIn

ContentIn's LinkedIn MCP server is a hosted remote server included in the Pro plan. You create an MCP key per LinkedIn profile in ContentIn and paste it into your client. ContentIn publishes setup steps for Claude Code, Claude Desktop and Cursor, and says any client that speaks Streamable HTTP MCP can connect, including ChatGPT.

The tools cover drafts in your voice from ContentIn's ghostwriter, publishing and scheduling (each waits for your confirmation), post analytics, and the people engaging with your posts. Pro is $59/mo, or $48/mo billed annually, with a 7-day free trial.

Best for: Creators already on ContentIn Pro who want their ghostwriter and calendar in Claude or Cursor.

Taplio

Taplio's LinkedIn MCP is a hosted server at https://mcp.taplio.com. Add the URL to your assistant and sign in with your Taplio account on the first call. Taplio lists Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, VS Code, Windsurf and Zed. The tools research high-performing posts, draft and edit posts, schedule and publish, find posts to comment on, draft comments and replies, attach media and read analytics. Publishing waits for your confirmation.

You need a Taplio account. Plans start at $39/mo (Starter), with Growth at $69/mo and Pro at $199/mo billed monthly, and a 7-day free trial.

Best for: Creators who want writing, scheduling and engagement from their assistant through Taplio.

Manifold

Manifold is a hosted MCP server with no API keys of your own and no LinkedIn login. Its LinkedIn tools are linkedin_search_posts, linkedin_get_profile, linkedin_get_company, linkedin_get_company_posts and linkedin_get_post. The same server also covers SEO, Reddit, ad libraries and leads, with Search Console and Bing tools at 0 credits per call.

Manifold is pay per call. Every workspace gets 500 free credits, top-ups start at $10 and Pro starts at $20/mo. See the LinkedIn tools documentation for what each tool returns.

Honest limits: Manifold does not draft, schedule, publish, comment or send messages. Postiv, ContentIn and Taplio handle content workflows. Manifold searches public posts and reads profiles and company pages.

Best for: Public LinkedIn research without a LinkedIn login, with pay per call pricing, in the same server as your SEO, Reddit, ads and leads research.
