Run onLinkedIn, "AI visibility", 26 October 2026

The prompt

We asked our own agent, Claude Code connected to Manifold, on 26 October 2026:

TEXT
What ads are companies running on LinkedIn about AI visibility? List the advertisers, what
each ad says, the format and how long it has run, and sum up the angles they use.

The call

StepToolInputCredits
1ads_search_adsplatform LinkedIn, query "AI visibility"1

One page of the LinkedIn Ad Library's results. For one competitor's full set, the call is ads_get_advertiser_ads, and ads_get_ad reads one ad in full.

What came back

24 ads. Most were personal posts that people paid to promote and that matched the words "AI" and "visibility" on their own. The agent kept the six from companies selling AI search visibility:

AdvertiserFormatShownImpressionsWhat it says
SearchableDocument24 to 26 Oct 202610k to 20kBlack Friday deals are live, but can AI find and recommend your products?
SearchableDocument24 to 26 Oct 2026under 1kHelp your ecommerce clients compete across AI search this peak season

Edge PartnersCarouselAn advisory firm was missing from AI answers; what changed in 45 days
ASCEND LLMSingle imageA ranking of the brands AI recommends in one industry, and a free audit
SerendipityVideoSearch Console now reports AI Overview and AI Mode impressions apart; read them that way

Blank cells are blank in the library: LinkedIn shows dates and an impressions range for some ads and not for others.

What the agent concluded

  • Seasonal hooks. Searchable ties AI visibility to Black Friday and sells to agencies with ecommerce clients.
  • A free audit as the offer. ASCEND LLM leads with an industry ranking and gives the audit away.
  • A before and after. Edge Partners sells a story of one client's answers changing over weeks.
  • Agencies as buyers. Pengu and Searchable both write to agency owners.

None of them leads with a price. Searchable ran one of its ads in seven countries, which makes it the one to watch: the next call would be ads_get_advertiser_ads on Searchable.

Run it on your market

Name a topic or a competitor. For Meta and TikTok a keyword search works as above; for Google, your agent finds the advertiser first, because Google keys its library by advertiser.

Where to go next

Questions people ask

Can I see a competitor's ad spend?

Only where the library publishes it. Meta and LinkedIn give ranges for some ads, such as impressions, and many ads carry none. Your agent reports what the library shows and leaves the rest empty.

Why did a keyword search return unrelated ads?

LinkedIn matches the words anywhere in the ad, so promoted personal posts come back too. For one competitor, search by advertiser instead.

Does it work for Google ads?

Yes, by advertiser. Google keys its library by advertiser, so your agent finds the advertiser first and then reads its ads.
