App store tools

Google Play and App Store listings, reviews, top charts and the store searches apps rank for.

Look up apps on Google Play and the App Store: the listing, what users say in reviews, the top charts, and the store searches an app ranks for. Pass store as google_play or app_store on every call.

Google Play ids are package names (com.Slack, with the case the store URL uses); App Store ids are the number in the URL (618783545). apps_search_apps and apps_get_top_charts find ids you do not have. Listings, reviews and charts are read live from the store and can take up to a minute. The keyword tools cover the United States in English.

To take a competitor's app apart, start with apps_get_app, then apps_get_reviews for what users complain about and apps_get_keywords for the searches it wins. apps_get_competitors and apps_get_shared_keywords compare it with the apps it fights for those searches.

To connect these tools to your agent, see the App Store and Google Play MCP page.
