## Questions

### What is a good median views to subscribers ratio?

It varies by niche and format, so compare channels in the same niche. A channel whose recent videos reach a large share of its subscribers has an audience that still watches; a large channel with low recent views grew on old hits.

### Why the median and not the average?

One viral video lifts the average a long way. The median is what a typical new video gets, which is what a sponsor buys.

### Can I see a channel's revenue?

No. YouTube does not publish what a channel earns, and calculators that claim to are guessing from views. This shows the numbers YouTube does publish.
