# Google Shopping tools

> Google Shopping results, product specs, every store's price and pooled reviews.

See what Google Shopping shows for a search, what each store charges for a product, its specs, and the reviews pooled from the stores that sell it. Results are read live and can take up to a minute.

[`shopping_search_products`](https://www.manifoldmcp.com/docs/tools/shopping#shopping_search_products) returns three ids on every row: `product_id`, `gid` and `data_docid`. Pass all three to [`shopping_get_product`](https://www.manifoldmcp.com/docs/tools/shopping#shopping_get_product), [`shopping_get_sellers`](https://www.manifoldmcp.com/docs/tools/shopping#shopping_get_sellers) and [`shopping_get_reviews`](https://www.manifoldmcp.com/docs/tools/shopping#shopping_get_reviews); Google finds a product most reliably with all of them.

## `shopping_search_products`: Search Google Shopping

Google Shopping results for a search: products in order with store, price, previous price, rating and delivery, plus the ids the other shopping_* tools take.

**Use when:** "what does Google Shopping show for X", "which stores win Shopping for our product", "what do competitors charge".

**Not for:** Amazon, use [`amazon_search_products`](https://www.manifoldmcp.com/docs/tools/amazon#amazon_search_products). Google web results, use [`seo_get_serp`](https://www.manifoldmcp.com/docs/tools/seo#seo_get_serp).

**Returns:** Record. keyword, `rows[]`: rank, `product_id`, gid, `data_docid`, title, seller, price, `old_price`, currency, rating, `ratings_count`, `tags[]`, delivery, url. Google's grouped carousels are left out.

**Cost:** 1 credit per 40 results. Default 40 = 1 credit. Cached 1 day. Can take up to a minute.

## `shopping_get_product`: Get a Shopping product

One Google Shopping product: description, specs, images, rating and its offers from each store.

**Use when:** "what specs does Google list for this product", "how is it described and rated across stores".

**Not for:** the full store list with shipping and tax, use [`shopping_get_sellers`](https://www.manifoldmcp.com/docs/tools/shopping#shopping_get_sellers). Reviews, use [`shopping_get_reviews`](https://www.manifoldmcp.com/docs/tools/shopping#shopping_get_reviews).

**Returns:** Record. `product_id`, gid, `data_docid`, title, description, url, `images[]`, rating, `ratings_count`, `specs[]` (group, name, value), `offers[]` (seller, url, price, `regular_price`, currency, `seller_rating`, `seller_ratings_count`, availability).

**Cost:** 1 credit. Cached 1 day. Can take up to a minute.

## `shopping_get_sellers`: Compare a product's prices

Every store selling one Google Shopping product, with base price, shipping, tax, total and the store's rating: a price comparison.

**Use when:** "who sells this cheapest", "is anyone undercutting us", "which retailers carry our product".

**Not for:** the product's specs, use [`shopping_get_product`](https://www.manifoldmcp.com/docs/tools/shopping#shopping_get_product). Amazon's sellers, use [`amazon_get_sellers`](https://www.manifoldmcp.com/docs/tools/amazon#amazon_get_sellers).

**Returns:** Record. `product_id`, title, `rows[]`: rank, seller, domain, url, price, shipping, tax, `total_price`, currency, `seller_rating`, `seller_ratings_count`, condition, availability, note.

**Cost:** 2 credits. Cached 6 hours. Can take up to a minute.

## `shopping_get_reviews`: Get product reviews

Reviews of one Google Shopping product pooled from the stores that sell it, with the count at each star rating.

**Use when:** "what do buyers say about this product", "what do 1-star reviews of competitor's product complain about".

**Not for:** app reviews, use [`apps_get_reviews`](https://www.manifoldmcp.com/docs/tools/apps#apps_get_reviews). Amazon reviews: not available.

**Returns:** Record. `product_id`, title, rating, `ratings_count`, `stars[]` (stars, count), `rows[]`: rating, title, text, author, source (the store the review came from), `published_at`.

**Cost:** 5 credits per 100 reviews. Default 100 = 5 credits. Cached 7 days. Can take up to a minute.
